Richard, a native of Tucson and graduate of the University of Arizona, returned from overseas in 1985 to work as an Office Specialist with CB Richard Ellis. Richard was a consistent Top Five Producer from 1987 through 1998 and the overall top producer in the CB Richard Ellis Tucson office from 1988 through 1991, 1995, 1996 and 1998. Richard was the first salesperson at CB Richard Ellis in Tucson to attain the title of First Vice President and then Senior Vice President.
Richard’s other career highlights include:
- Overseeing a $200 million dollar portfolio that included real estate in California, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, and Arizona while working for Dollar Enterprises, a private holding company.
- Negotiating the development of a commercial rice plantation on a 100,000 acre parcel in Sierra Leone.
- Overseeing the development of a 46,000 square foot factory adjacent to the Hunterston Nuclear Power Plant in Scotland, including handling on international banking arrangements.

John M. Galen, broker, specializes in investment property and apartment sales. He has been involved in the commercial real estate business for over 15 years in Arizona, Southern California and Chicago. Prior to joining SRA, Mr. Galen was a salesperson in the CB Richard Ellis Tucson office. He also has experience in airline sales management, and oversees a family trust with properties in several western states.
